Horrible veg lunch in bangalore

Me & my husband visited saffron on Sun afternoon for lunch..To start with soup,we ordered hot n sour soup-tasted bland no salt, masala coke -too much masala no fizz, chilli garlic noodles -no chilli no garlic tasted very bad, only the starter crispy veg congee was k to eat...plz don't visit this place, food is veg restaurants are konark and shivsagar!!! Saffron is a waste of money n time,it din't fill us n we had to go to other restaurant to have lunch in spite of paying 750/- in saffron, not worth it!!Their menu looks very fancy, too expensive for their quality..when we gave the feedback manager said we can change ur food not the chef..with such horrible chef they Wil have to close it down very soon.all the best!!

Best Veg Food in Banasawadi

Opened quite recently in Banasawadi, Saffron is a vegetarian restaurant. When I visited the place along with my husband for dinner on my birthday, they gave us complementary jamoon and that’s one of the best jamoons that I had so far. The waiters are quite friendly and they remember you the next time you visit them. The soup that we ordered was very spicy and when we reported this, they prepared fresh new soup matching our requirements. The atmosphere is so friendly that you want to visit more. Sizzlers that we had ordered were just awesome. Desert too is quite nice. Lunch buffet is too good and easily affordable. When we visited the place on this New year, it was so crowded that we had to wait so long. Probably they didn't expect such a huge turn out on that day since many of the food stuff were getting empty so fast and we had to wait until they cooked the new ones. 2 starters, 2 curry, naan, pasta, colored rice, plain rice, rasam and curd rice with amazing hangyo ice cream (vanilla or strawberry) as desert was the menu for the lunch buffet. Nevertheless the taste of each item was yummy and people were quite polite and apologetic for the mismanagement. A Must visit place if you are living close by.

Good ambience and nice food

Was at saffron for dinner today with wife and kids. The ambience of the place is good and there is a good variety of dishes in north indian and chinese cuisine. There are not many good veg only eatouts in Banaswadi/Kammanahalli area and saffron is a good pick from the lot. The quality of the food was excellent with the right amount of spices added in and less oily as well. The pricing was on the higher side especially considering that the portion sizes are not very large. Overall a pleasant experience!
