They welcome you warmly! Two different menus. One for our very own South Indian food and another one for Chinese food! You will be confused from which menu should you choose the soup and the starter first! They take your order and they won't make you wait till they bring your order! You'll be served with a welcome drink and small piece of vaazhapazha dosai. I'm sure you will ask for that again because I asked them! Chinese soups are brilliant and if you are a fan of South Indian soup go for kozhi rasam! Their starters are unique and tastes brilliant! Annachis varutha kozhi - taste that and you will never go to any other place to eat chicken! Cordon blue and crispy chicken bell peppers will make you fight with your group or the person you go with because I'm sure you won't say enough! I ordered parotta and mutton chukka. The best mutton chukka I've ever had! Their South Indian gravy's are really good! My friend ordered shanghai fried rice. A mixed fried rice and noodles with Hunan chicken! I didn't know which one to finish. Their appam was as soft as sponge. Asked for one more and I couldn't stop eating! I wanted to order poricha parotta but no space in my tummy! So I stopped there because I surely knew I will come here again soon! Finally desserts. OMG. The elaneer paayasam and thoothukudi pudding will make you sit there and romance with that! I ordered elaneer paayasam again! Worth the money! When you get brilliant food Why care about the bill amount! SHANGAI ANNACHI - I would prefer eating there 7 days a week! :)
We had been to a lunch on a Sunday as a large group (of 10). We chose the place after reading previous reviews on Burrp and we made a prior reservation. The ambience was pleasant but crowded.
We went with mixed menu between Chinese and Indian. Almost all dishes were excellent and full of flavour. Especially the kola urundai and the thoothukudi pudding. It was very crowded on the sunday afternoon and the staff had a tough time keeping up, so the service wasn't as attentive as we would have liked.
Cost here was rated as 'Moderate' but for an average eater, it cost us about INR 700 per head. But in any case, we would highly recommend this restaurant based on our experience here.
