    Haven't been to the shop... But the wife got some cupcakes from this shop home. Tried the apple-cinnamon and the double chocolate chip (Was that the name of the flavour?) - and they were brilliant! the frosting was amazing - and the cupcake base - moist - and simply divine... would love to go to this place and see the wonders there for myself someday!

    Kudos for the couple to have opened an audacious concept in a city like Ahmedabad.. where food is defined by masses n not d classes... Buttercup comes across as small boutique selling only cupcakes, with limited variants and choice, where only the early birds could get a whiff of the spread on the shelf.

    Never been inside the kitchen, but I believe the capacity is not an assembly line for sure. Limited quantities, make to the order and fewer assorments has made the place ever more better without compromising on the quality.

    As the name suggests..this place is just a cupcake shop. But thats a good thing because the owners know cupcakes and that is what they do best. The menu has a small range from regular chocolate, vanilla to a bit more sophisticated like lemon and red velvet. After a few visits i have tasted all and i would recommend you go for any of them because they all are really good. Fantastic and homely taste unlike other dessert cafes where the cream tastes artificial and unhealthy.
