Chak de Chole Bhature
It is quite a surprise that Havmor is yet to be reviewed. Well here it is. It is one of the oldest joints of Amdavad and all amdavadis know that this is the place to get the the best Chole in town. The deep brown chole with its mesmerising odour of freshly ground masalas just melts into the mouth with the large Bhature sitting pretty on your table. Do go for it if you have'nt tried as yet. Havmor serves some delicious Punjabi food too. The paneer lovers (i.e half of Amdavad) should not miss the famous Balti Paneer and Paneer Lababdar. Sayur Lodeh (a soup) is not exactly authentic Thai... but still tastes great. Try ending the meal with a simply superb Hyderabadi Biryani with veg raita. (of course vegetarian)
The sizzlers are great too (but these I tried at their other outlet in Bopal).
This is one place where you can always take your guests and be assured of a pleasant time.
