Hey Friends, I have gone through one horrible experience of life ... ?Mirch Masala? on S.G. Highway served me Non-Veg in Palak Khichdi ...... So, beware ... if anyone hardcore vegetarians like me .... planning to visit it ... and top of it they were not apologetic ... I thought being a renowned restaurant they were maintaining some standard ...... but unfortunately .... that?s not the case ..... In my whole life .... Nice Dhaba feel..
As the name suggests, its quite obvious what we shud expect from Mirch Masala...Mirch and Masala?? its spicy, with lots of Khada Masala. Many ppl might not like it because generally people in Ahmadabad don?t eat too spicy. But till the time its not affecting mirch masala?s business, its fine. The place is crowded and has a long waiting list on the weekends. So I guess spicy food is not at all a concern for the regular customers?. And for the new ones, if u cant eat spicy pls request to make it a little mild. coz if u dont, be ready for wats gonna come.

Mirch Masala has been quite a trademark place for people to have dhaba kind of a food..
On my recent visit i didnt find the touch which used be there some years back.. Making food spicy doesnt only serve the purpose, it has to taste appropriate..
Just adding red chillies, green chillies & Khada masala doesnt make food tastier.. it just makes it spicy...
But still the ambience makes people go often..
I know for sure tht Mirch Masala people would work on it and they are fast to realize their problem. -
