Amidst an urban set up at the posh Karnavati Club, I found Sarbhara to be a place where I could relish the authentic taste of a Gujarati meal.
The 'Ringan Cheese Bhajia' starter was lip smacking with a rare combination of Brinjal and Cheese put together and the 'Mavapuri' mithai was just amazing. sipping the Watermelon juice repeatedly till the end was just so good. Not to forget about the 'Chash' which kept on coming till we burped the last sip out.
Here the food is not so spicy as they tend to make it at all the other Gujarati Thali Bhojanalays.
Contradictory to the messy image of a Thali joint, probably because of the TGB management in control of the place, the stewards somehow managed not to spill the food neither on our clothes nor on the table. They managed to put the serving at the right place without spiling the kadhi into the sweet & dal on the papad.
