  • Sankalp Restaurant - Ahmedabad Variety of sout

    Sankalp chain of Restaurants is very famous not only in Gujarat but also in other states. They have a very holistic mission statement, discussing which was our pass time in our last visit there on late Sunday afternoon. We were happy that day, as first time we found the place relaxed and not jostling with activities of waiters and crowd as always.

    What i like about the restaurant is its ambience and decor, especially the variety of serving utensils which are partially traditional. At the end of meal they even serve meetha pan which i relish. What i dislike isfood is always very salty    ... read more

    I tried out Sankalp South-Indian food after a very very long time..
    I have memories of dining at Sankalp since I was a kid..
    This place is mostly overflowing with guests on weekends, so we picked up a weekday to enjoy our meal, and we were lucky to find a table the moment we entered
    Although I generally like to experiment with new food items, this time I did not order anything fancy just a Butter Masala Dosa, & a Butter Rawa Masala Dosa..
    The order was served in a matter of minutes.

  • Very tasty south Indian food

    Although there are many other branches of the same Restaurant I enjoy most at this place. open terrace, good ambiance and always a gr8 service. they offer typical South Indian food in vast flavors and not to mention the quality and the taste have always remained the same over the many years. they also offer some mouth watering mock tails and deserts. I would say not that gr8 place to party with friends but definitely the gr8 place to party with the family. and yes not to forget the "PAN" they offer in the last.
