  • Disappointed

    this place was recommended for authentic gujarati thali in a rural setting. The setting was Ok - the drive from the city was long - so we were not impressed with the ambience. anyway we were told that gujarati thalis were served only in the evenings - the guy was pushing a paratha thali. we said no and ordered some snacks and drinks - we were rudely told to pay the bill at the counter before sitting down in the beds. the food came and was Ok - overall for a place that has hosted cricketers etc., this was pathetic. maybe they do a good job and treat you well only if you are a celeb. will not recommend... read more

  • Nice Gujarati Lunch

    I always worried about insects in open air, hence never visited Vishalla in the evening. But i had good gujarati lunch. I thought it was too much to get up several time for the meal when there were so many workers were there.

    Contrast to this buffet, at Patang, I could always depend on waiter to get food for me.

    I went to this place last week and they staff has gone aweful. Food is so/so, but staff pushes you to eat as fast as they can serve. There motto is just one, EAT AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.

    This place is just not worth it. For 500 bucks per person, you can eat twice in best restaurants of Ahmedabad.
