Wide variety of American food

A typical american fast food joint with wide variety of burgers, sandwiches, fried and beverages.

Everything served here are worth every calorie you intake and every rupee you spent on them.

The burgers are tasty and the breads used are also nice and soft. The double cheese burger is a must try for all cheese lovers.

The place is small but has a very cozy environment. i'ts perfect for a quick yummy bite. Vegetarian's will also have ample options in salads and burgers. A must place for every burger lover.

Kickass BurgersKickass Burgers

If you are a burger lover and haven't been to between breads then shame on you. Your life is incomplete. Located on the 16th road in Bandra, this small outlet serves the most mindblowing burgers in Mumbai. I call it the Mecca of burgers, we make it a point to eat here at least once a month. I haven't even started talking about the taste and my mouth is already watering.

We ordered 12 Oz Bacon Cheezeburger, Beef Chilli and Chicago Hotdog with pork franks. The only place that serves beef burgers. The meat is so tender and juicy that it just create an explosion in your mouth the moment you take a bite. Trust me for first one minute, you will only go mmmmmmm aaaaaah. The portion sizes are big, so in case you are a small eater, All the best!!

All the items are serves with fries. Please note they do not serve any alcohol. It is a small place at best can accommodate 10 pax. However, they home deliver as well. The service is quick and excellent.

I would rate this place,
Food - 4.5 out of 5
Service - 4 out of 5
Ambiance - 3.5 out of 5
Value for Money - 4 out of 5.

Overall, 4 out of 5. Highly recommended place to visit in Bandra.

Juicy Burgers

A strictly meaty joint where the chefs is know for his unique culinary skills. Hardcore stuff & surely not meant calorie conscious people. I ordered fries and a chicken sandwich both of which were kickass. . Double beef cheese burgers, classic pork hot dog and Mushroom Cheeseburger are to die-for. This place is a treat for meat lovers. Better make the most of it and grab a nice juicy burger

Arguably one of the best burgers in Mumbai

Between Breads is a small space offering vast variety of awesome burger. Compact yet very nice ambiencce. BBLT, Meat Feast and 10 Oz Bacon Cheeseburger these three variants are one of the best I' have come across. The portions for the fries are less but the lemon and herb fries are worth a try. The double cheese burger is a must try for all cheese lover. The toppings are a bit much so be careful while eating else your clothes enjoy it too.Nice place to wind down your weekend. Not too heavy on your wallet as well.

Big on size, small on space

There’s something about comfort food that just offers such solace once you start digging in. Fine dining is all well and good, but being casual and letting your guard and hair down is where the fun’s really at! Getting your fingers messy is a joy in itself, and it’s inevitable that you will find yourself in that situation if and when you land up at Between Breads.

Hungry on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I had a craving for burgers and so set about zeroing in on several joints that could serve up a good ol’ burger. There’s something about it that’s very alluring; chunky meat (or veggies, if you’re a herbivore) wrapped up in a pair of fresh buns, with some cheese, lettuce and pickles thrown in for good measure. It’s just an honest-to-goodness, ready-to-go meal that fills the belly and leaves a smile on your face without fail.

Making our way down to Between Breads was easy enough, finding seating space was not easy, even on a late Sunday afternoon and that is perhaps a good thing. An eatery in demand, after all, is always a very public show of confidence! What was not so easy to find though was any kind of seating space since the place begins and ends before you realize it. It’s just so small, which is not an attribute you can give for the board elaborating on the food options available. On the whole, I was quite confused as to what to order since the options were quite extensive.

Eventually, after much hemming and hawing, I zeroed in on the humble cheeseburger, for there is no better way to judge a burger/sandwich joint than by their cheeseburger? Just for good measure, I made mine a Double Chicken Cheeseburger since I was willing to gamble on it being good. More to the point, I was terribly hungry! The wifey called for a Meatball Marinara since she’s more a fan of subs. To ive the food some company, we called for Pink Lemonades each, with the damage for everything coming to approx Rs. 800.

Let me get the bad out of the way first. The Pink Lemonade was a poor choice on our part. It was too warm for my taste, and it had a strong hint of sourness to it that I couldn’t put my finger on, but if I absolutely had to describe it, I’d liken it to the kind of salt used on golas at the beach. It’s just that combined with the warmth of the lemonade, it was slightly off-putting and not enjoyable. Given that it landed up with us about 5-10 minutes before our burger/sub made it to us, it served as an interlude that only heightened the anticipation for the grub. I passed it by sipping on the lemonade and grumbling and reading the selection of Archie comics on offer. At least they held some succor for me!

Soon enough my Double Chicken Cheeseburger and the wife’s Meatball Marinara winged their way to our table (if you can call it that) and we began to dig in almost immediately. I absolutely relished my burger. I don’t know if it was the hunger or the burger itself, but it was very nice. The patty was reminiscent of some of the burgers I’ve enjoyed over in the land of the big apple. The pickles, the tomato, the cheese, the meat; it all came together in one very satisfying orgy. Served with a side of fries that was very decently done, I moved my attention to trying out the Meatball Marinara. It was decent, but with not nearly enough meatballs for my liking and the sauce was not tomato-ey enough either. Oddly, the wife and I both insisted that we each had the better burger/sub, but what we did agree on was that we should have given the Pink Lemonade a miss.

In all then, I’d recommend Between Breads, but it is not the inexpensive place that it touts itself to be. If inexpensive burgers are what you seek, head over to McDonald’s, but know fully well that their burgers are bigger only in reputation and nothing else. I remember Brembo’s, which was open on SV Road near Gaiety Galaxy, offering great burgers for about Rs. 100 a pop some years ago. Shame they shut down, but Between Breads is a pretty decent sandwich/burger/subs joint in their own right and so long as you don’t walk in expecting sprawling spaces and rock bottom prices, all is well. Dig in guys!

Brilliant!

Between Breads! The food is great!! The Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich, the Grilled Pepper Chicken Sandwich and of course the Ten Ounce Bacon Cheeseburger are amongst the must haves! However the best thing about this place would have to be the Bacon Fries! Add an Oreo milkshake to it and you’re good to go!
The staff too is really friendly. Love the interiors and the idea of having comic books at every table. Not to forget the quote from Pulp Fiction!

The food tastes great and the menu is outstanding. However they don't accept cards and they don't do delivery. They are overpriced but is just one of the places that is getting away with all this because the food is different from the regular burger places. Good burgers in a squeeze.

I was delighted when I first visited this place and had the Jalapeno Popper burger- at last a good burger place! The burger was yum and came with fries on the side. I'm vegetarian but even my non-vegetarian friends loved their orders. However, when I went this weekend, the burger was dry, the fries soft, and it took fifteen minutes to PLACE the order, and another 20 for it to come. Not a good place to go if you're hungry. Especially since you have to pray, cross your fingers and wish on a shooting star to get a place to sit! But if you don't mind waiting, the food is good- who knows, maybe the chef was having an off day. I'd be willing to give him a second chance.

Best Burgers n Fries in Bombay

Between Breads is a really small joint creatively done up. The burgers are good, the fries come in many varieties the Bacon Fries being the best.
Buffalo Wings were not good.
Their burgers are big, tasty and totally worth the price. Beef Cheeseburger :) :) :)

The only downside is that they take only cash, no card and they tend to rush you into finishing and leaving if they have too many customers.

Great Ambience, Good Food

This place is generally crowded with hardly any space. Being small, it can serve as a takeaway counter. However, the ambiance is nice. A nice place to chill.

I ordered jalapeño popper burger and BB style french fries. Less options for vegetarians but the burger was worth it all. The price is reasonable and fries come along with the burger.
BB style french fries were amazing ! Do give it a try m/

Bread and fries!

Much like most Bandra eateries, this one’s tiny and no conversation made here will be personal. The BB fires are beyond awesome. My fellow meat eater liked them more than the bacon ones. Veggies, whatever the filling, you'll love the soft, fresh, multi grain sandwich bread. Carnivores, you have way too many options to choose from..

The one meal that can power you through the day.

On a Sunday afternoon, when you've had a long schmooze and you wake up and feel hungry, what do you do? Head up to Between Breads, a small, luscious, sandwich joint in the bylanes of Bandra, which has been around a few months, and fast gaining word of mouth to drive the crowds in droves.

Yesterday, I managed to get seating only the second time here, and there are another two times I've arrived and departed in 30 seconds because there is a lot of traffic at this 15 seater eatery, and you can't always find space. No hard feelings though, everyone got to get an opportunity to enjoy their burgers every once in a while ;) Chatting with one of the owners, they are planning to establish another kitchen in Bandra to be able to offer home delivery soon, and after that the plan is to go to Andheri.

Now to the food, I've never went back feeling the need for more food from this place. The portions are massive and satiating. Its a 20 item or so menu, and like I've always said, small outlets got to specialise, make some good food and offer limited menus. So I appreciate it that they are playing to their strength here, which is to get succulent meats and convert it into nice sandwiches, without the bother of having to remember how to make a zillion kinds of them.

My preference here, is to go for the Chef's Sandwiches or for the classics. After all, that is where the innovation or the execution of the classic recipes would show. Yesterday, we went with the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and The Morning After, complete with some Bacon Fries and Ice tea on the side.

The Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich first. It came in a Multi-grain Baguette bread, and apart from the beef which was diced fine and done well, it had some pretty nice caramelized onions and roasted bell peppers, which you could take a nice 30-45 minutes to eat and converse over. This came with a portion of potato wafers on the side. The best part about this sandwich, was that the hot tastes were intermingled with the tangy tastes that the peppers and bbq sauce were supposed to provide. When you can taste the various ingredients separately, its a job well done.

The Morning After next. It should be classified in the club sandwich category, but with a difference. It comes in a toasted baguette again (but a non-multigrain one), and had all the ingredients of a nice club s/w inside: bacon, ham, fried egg, tomatoes... along with a garlic sauce, and... French fries. Hey, I am already thinking when can someone make a nice french fries sandwich for me (with some sauces inside, but nothing else)

The bacon fries were, well, french fries, made in Bacon stock, and had Bacon bits interspersed, they were yummy, but the plastic forks we got along to eat 'em were not so strong though ;)

I still have to give a try to the 10 ounce Bacon Cheeseburger, and see if they are a contest with some of the other biggies in town who do it in a gourmet setting, but I'm sure they won't disappoint.

Do plan to visit off the regular dining hours, and you should get space easily, else be prepared to wait 5-15 minutes to get a table. enjoy your meats, because if you're here, you've earned it.

Burger that give you BURGASM

So after ramzan, I was eager to make-up for all the fasting I did. To begin with I decided to make a stop at Between Breads after a lot of deliberation as you can go crazy when it comes to pick an eatery in Bandra. Anyhow, when we landed there we couldn't find an empty table. Limited seating is an issue, but you can't blame them when you think about how the real estate prices are. And they more than compensate you with their awesome burgers. Though very small, the place doesn't feel claustrophobic. It has a decor that can make you guess the name of the outlet on your first try. I quite like the cozy feel to it, though it can tend to get noisy when there is a group of friends that decide to take the table next to you. We ordered the Ten Ounce Bacon cheeseburger and the Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich with a Peach Iced Tea. The iced tea was refreshing, the philly sandwich was a lil disappointing for me coz i hate peppers. But if you like those red, green and yellow things, go for it. Of course the winner for me was the burger. The first bite i took of it reminded me of the episode from How I met your mother where Lily has a Buragsm, yea its that good! And the fries they serve along are awesome too. So, if you're thinking of trying BB, don't think, just do....either wait for a table or take it home, its worth it! The prices are just right and the best part is that unlike the other 'burger joints' the prices here are inclusive of all taxes. yay!

Heaven...Need more branches!

Decided to visit Between Breads with my friends last week. The place is really small with just 4-5 tables which makes you wait for a long time for your table but once you have the food in front of you, it will forget about all the time you had to wait. I decided to go for a Grilled Pepper Chicken Sandwich and two vegetarian friends went for Aloo Patty burger and Jalapeno Popper burgers for each of them. You can modify your sandwich/burger to your liking. I had asked mine to be without cheese and little more spicy and the taste was amazing. Basically all of us totally loved the food and we are already planning the next visit sometime this week. The burgers are serves along with fries and the sandwiches along with potato chips (potato chips was a bit turnoff for me, would have appreciated fries as well but not complaining). All in all it’s a great place and double the worth of your money and the portions are so big that each burger/sandwich is as good as a complete meal. This place should be a must visit on your list.

The best burger joint in town

I decided to pay a visit last Sunday. I had heard a lot about between breads from friends. It's a small well furnished place but the usp really was the food! I had the jalapeño popper burger with chilly garlic potato wedges. Fries were served along with the burger! My friends ordered a beef burger which they relished along with buffalo wings. My burger was amazing! The jalapeño poppers lent it a distinct taste and the filling and the sauces were amazing! But all of us unanimously loved the chilli garlic potato wedges! They were extremely crispy and had a great flavour! It's a little expensive but the food was worth it!

Best burgers place in the city!

One day I just happened to walk into this place after checking out the restaurants near by on burrp. Like always, burrp never fails to surprise me.
This is a very small place with a seating of 20 people, it has a burger mural on the wall and white high raised tools. Also, with archies comic books available on every table. Must say, very well made.
We called for the jalapeño popper burger and I don't think I've had it better than this ANYWHERE!
This place also does an excellent job with its sandwiches.
I love the way they serve you within a basket filled with fires and chips. (something different)
The service and the people out there are very friendly and nice.
It is very difficult to have a perfect balance between the quality and the price. This place definitely nailed it. I simply cannot wait to go there again.

The most amazing burgers

Food:
If you've been looking for the best burger joint, then this is it. They have the most delicious pork, beef and chicken burgers. The bacon fries are to die for. So is the breakfast burger.

Service:
This is not their focus point i suppose. Its been disappointing the 4-5 times i visited. But doesn't really matter.

Ambiance:
Cramped, yes. Can't really have any 'personal' conversations. That apart, the interiors are decent.

Price:
Its a total VFM.

Its tough to find a table though. But the wait is completely worth it. Don't miss out.

Lives up to all the hype!

Completely lives up to the hype surrounding it!It's extremely difficult to find a perfect balance between price and quality when it comes to burgers,in Mumbai. This place nails it.We had the Philly cheese steak sandwich (Rs279)-a beautifully toasted baguette filled with shredded beef steak, peppers, onion and Gouda, all doused with mustard and BBQ sauce.I don't think I've had it any better than this,ANYWHERE.Next in line was the 10 Ounce Bacon Cheese burger (Rs 309)-Perfectly cooked minced beef patty, along with tomatoes, onions, pickles and cheese....a mouthful of heaven! We had to have more obviously...so next came the BBLT Sandwich (Rs 219)-Healthy dose of artery clogging bacon enveloped in lettuce, tomatoes and grilled onions,in a sub roll. They also do some brilliant sides like Bacon fries (Rs 99)-Fries doused in bacon oil and topped with lil pieces of bacon and Bacon strips (Rs 99)-as the name suggests, salty yummy pieces of fried bacon strips.
Can't wait to go back. The chef certainly knows how to cook his meat, retaining flavours and juiciness, while maintaining a good balance between prices and quality.

Superb !

I visited Between Breads around 2 months back & I have been wanting to review this place ever since & to let everybody know how great this place is for its burgers !

Small place, limited tables, more like bar stools, but the burgers are great,so good that they actually ran out of burger buns when we went & they offered to use some other bread to substitute the buns but by the time we placed our order & it was getting done they managed to source some more burger buns.I am a vegetarian and can vouch that the veg burger was also delicious & the coffee banana shake is a must try as well.

I hope these guys move to a bigger place as it can get crowded although the service is quick & the turn around time to get a table is fast.

Must try if you are in Bandra and if you are craving a burger !

So I went here with huge expectations because of all the rave reviews and let me tell you, these guys did a hell of a job meeting all of them. I had the 10 ounce cheeseburger which is the juiciest cheese burger i've ever tasted. The Ruben too is a sandwich packed with the most succulent corned beef ever. Customer Care MAX

Ok, so done with the quite-obviously-awesome 10oz beef burger.
I've now had the Ruben's, The coffee-banana milkshake, the Chicken Cheeseburger, the bacon fries and the tuna melt.
Ruben's: Named after one of the co-owners, is basically corned beef, cheese and some veggies jam-packed between two slices of crispy bread. This dish is super heavy and super filling. The cheesiness and the beef flavor mix pretty well. Definitely a buy.
The coffee-banana Milkshake is a very thick and a quick drink served. It will take a while before you finish that one.

The chicken Cheeseburger that I'd ordered (take-away) turned out to be salty for some reason, which isn't the case normally.
The tuna melt was again all tuna, mayo and veggies. You a fish monster, you must have.

A friend of ours had just visited the dentist. She wanted that burger though. The guys at BB served the 10oz without the bun and cooked real tender so that it was easy for her to have it. Customer Care MAX!

Oh, and the smoke issue is now taken care of.

Between Breads ++

A place that friends had spoken about, heard on twitter, decided to try it out, with a friend.

A small place with space for around 16 people, bright, cheery with coffee shop rules – look at the large menu, order, pay and they deliver to your bar table with high seating.

Tried out the Philly cheese chicken sandwich – amazing is the word to describe it. I have not tasted anything close to that anywhere in India ever. My friend tried the BLT and was equally blown away so much so that he forgot his medication bag there and had to go retrieve it the next day, giving him an opportunity to try out another offering

A must visit to try out the rest of the stuff on the menu.

This small wonder hidden in a corner of 16th road, Bandra has recently become a go to place. I was surprised by the bright colours and sandwich shaped tables.
The food here is to die for. The bacon fries and all of the sandwiches i have tried till now have been a sumptuous delight.
The only negative is the wait; both for the food and to be seated.
But the quality, taste and freshness of the food makes up for it.

10ounce = 280grams of beef patty stuffed with cheese. The patty oozes with the juiciness of the meat and that cheese. The patty is topped with bacon strips; onion rings, pickles and tomato slices.

With the bacon flavor and the beef and that cheese blending in brilliantly, this is a steal for Rs 309/- (Tax inclusive).

The bread again, is soft, and not served cold. So yup, it is a win-win situation. The burger was served along with a generous amount of fries too.

The bacon fries, is basically truckloads of fries and bacon and bacon oil. Brilliant, again, just 99 bucks.

The guys are chilled out and friendly, hence it's more 'fun. The only turn-off was that the place was filled with smoke. New place, hence guessing it will be taken care of :)

I love my veggies all the more now!

Yummy multi-grain bread, loads of mozzarella cheese and veggies and light crispy wafers accompanying the sandwich in a cute basket. What really won me over was the quantity of fries and of course, how they tasted. Soft and thick and a basket full of fries at Rs. 99 made my day! Also, the place has a very casual and relaxed vibe to it. Special mention for the Archie comics, sanitizers and a bottle of mustard sauce on the tables.

Great experience

I was really hungry when I went to Between Breads, and I left more than satisfied! The double cheeseburger and pork hot dog were juicy and seasoned to perfection. I can see others have raved about the bacon fries, and with good reason! If you're gonna grab a bite without counting the calories, this is the way to do it!

The place is small, but has just the right ambiance with Archie's comics strewn alongside the tables. The guys who run the place are very hands on, themselves taking orders and serving them. Even though they got one of my orders wrong, they were very apologetic and quickly fixed the mix-up. Made me wanna come here and write about them. Great service!
