This was not my first visit to this restaurant. As always food was just superb as always. You can order complete food from ipad after checking the details and photographs So no surprises when it arrives They specialise in seafood. The chilly prawns were scrumptious & fresh and very flavorsome. The food quality, taste, presentation every thing was very good.LOVED the "paan" shot that they gave us at the end of the meal.

Staff Sucks at Pebbles

I was calling pebbles on the number provided on teh website for the 3 days continuosly for a dinner reservation for the 31st Dec. After several calls I was told by the person attending customer calls on the landline number that he will not be able to take any bookings till 31st morning and any exceptions will be done by their manager Mr. Thakur. Called the so called Mr. Thakur several times and the call went unasnwered. Finally on 31st morning I again called the landline number provided, was directed to 'THE MR. THAKUR'. Well I called this man and after a couple of unanswered calls I finally get a call back from this man. The coldest man I have ever encountered in this industry. The commencement of the lies:
1. We are full
2. We do not take couple reservations
3. We are not full but we will not take booking on the phone
4. Staff does't have any right or power to answer any queries on the call
Mr. Thakur, as the manager, it is your duty to keep your staff updated on something as basic as 'WE WILL NOT TAKE COUPLE BOOKINGS FOR 31ST DEC'. and if your staff doens't have any right to give out any information then why are you not attending calls on the landline cust. ser. number that you have provided on various website.

This restaurant serves awesome food but I refuse to eat there till this arrogant Mr. Thakur will be working there.

Excellent quality food...with lots of courtesy

You can term this a truly fine dining experience. The moment you enter, you are treated as a valued customer by everybody. They won my vote in the first minute itself.

I was strongly recommended for the seafood here. I was lucky to accompany similar minded people. It was a visual treat to have the neatly decorated servings of pomfret, prawns and bombay duck being added to your plate. Take a bite and you taste every bit of the fresh fish in your mouth.

We moved to the poultry section for main course. There was no thinking again when we were offered chicken Manglorean alongwith Neer Dosa and kerala paratha. What a delight. Chicken Awadhi was excellent too and proved to be quite a meal.

While we were filled to the core, we simply could not miss the desserts. They hit the right note with Honey noodles with vanilla ice cream and caramel custard.

The entire meal was a mixture of delights with no specific cuisine and boy....we loved it. The main course is strongly recommended. Do go here with your family and you will have a everlasting memory.

This place pretty much sucks!

I am not sure how this place is getting positive reviews. We ordered some kababs and a vegeterian dish. It tasted like crap! Price wise, we ended up paying 1500 bucks for 3 people and this was ONLY for starters. It seems to me that the POSITIVE reviews below are probably paid for because when I went to this place on a Friday night, only 3 tables were occupied. The ambience is really bad and the food is worse. If you're into quality non-vegeterian food, please do not go to this place. I won't comment on the sea food because I did not try it, but Mughlai food sucks. The one thing I actually loved about this place was the waiters. Humble, cordial and quick (not with your order though). Good waiters are a luxury these days and it seems like Pebbles has scored there. But all in all, a horrible experience!

Great food, great ambience!

Pebbles is one of those classy restaurants with really amazing food and a good ambiance. Had recently gone there with office colleagues for dinner. We ordered everything from Mutton, Chicken, Fish and Vegetarian as well. None of it failed to impress me. Usually I am not the person to even try vegetarian food at restaurants where non-veg is available but everything is served well and food itself looks so good that you cant stop yourself from having it. The price points might be a little higher but the amazing food totally makes up for it. Though the restaurant guys do not specifically highlight, they do have a lunch buffet too (Monday – Saturday). It is moderately priced and you can enjoy a great variety of different cuisines in it. The buffet covers Soups, Salads, 4 Veg. 4 Non-veg appetizers each and plenty of items in main course and desserts as well. The buffet is totally a value for money and you will definitely end up eating more than you imagined.

Fantastic !!!

This restaurant is easily the best place I have visited in recent times. There were thirteen of us in a group for lunch. I had been to the JUhu Pebbles restaurant and had enjoyed the buffet there,So I was very keen to try the Andheri branch, I was simply bowled over! The food is just awesome especially the starters, The service is just too good. They made special arrangements for us and we really appreciated it.The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Would love to visit again and also highly recommend to others.

I had been to this place today and I must say it is impressive. We were 2 of us and we ordered for the everyday lunch buffet.
We started with a pepper chicken soup which was really appetizing nad nice.
For the starters we ordered all of them ( better go with a group or a minimum of 2 people ). Special mentions would be the fish and the koliwada prawns . never tasted better stuff. In the main course u have south indian appams with chicken , fish and lamb gravy's. The lamb was sooo amazing ; heavely actually. the desserts are pretty simple: gulab jamun , cheesecake , mousse .Overall i'd go again and would love trying the sunday brunch which is their specialty

Awesome Food And Ambiance

This place serves food that is just heavenly. Have been here with my husband multiple times. The decor is nice and the staff is very friendly. It's famous for its seafood menu but the chicken dishes are as good. The non-veg platter is very filling and delicious. Love the chocolate fondue cake too. Since we are regulars here, the staff knows us very well.

Once, my mother and I had come here for lunch. The staff had recognized me and had served us the non-veg starters of the buffet as complimentary. Definitely recommend this place to people who love seafood and who want to have a classy time with their family/friends.

One of the best restaurants in Andheri for sea food lovers.
The ambiance of the hotel is beautiful.
The service is also good.
Pebbles doesnt disappoint you with anything.
As for the food,
Tiger prawns in light soya sauce with stem ginger was simply wow!
they hav variety of sauces to choose from.
Also the stuffed pomfret was tasty and spicy!
surmai curry was the highlight of all the dishes v had ordered.
Malbari prawns biryani was surprising.
Bit on a sweet side but yet it ws spicy.
Overall my experience at Pebbles was awesome.
Perfect place for sea food lovers!

No pebbles, but great fish

A nice, spacious, well laid out place.

We ordered prawns – lovely, subtle flavour, marinated well and repeated. Fish – Surmai – nice crisp, again just the right masala. And some mixed dim sums which were ok. We tried a chef’s recco of chicken with neer dosa and malbari parathas which was amazing. Another chicken was Mangalorean chicken curry which was pretty good and went well with the parotas.

The surprise was methi dal which we tried with parota and some rice. Outstanding stuff.

This ended with Gulab jamun and Kesar pista Kulfi.

They also have an amazing VFM lunch buffet for 500+ taxes

Soon, turning into a favourite because of the food and service. Sonia the asst manager is a gem.

classy !!!!!

We had been here for lunch buffet and the following was my experience

Ambience : 4/5
you wont find it unique but also not that bad as the perfect interiors makes you happy

Waiters : 5/5
humble waiters, asking you all the time if you want more, no arrogance at all

Food: 4/5
if you are wanting to have something real spicy then don't opt for this...
but even if the food was not spicy the taste was excellent. perfectly cooked sea food.

cost for 2 will be around 1500

overall a wonderful experience

A little marvel

Enter with an idea of good food and leave with the actually satisfying taste of great tender cooked meals.
Nice decor , menu is an i-pad (nice touch) , confortable seating and and all round good experience.
The staff was well knowledgeable of what was on the menu and very helpful with a smile on his face.
Both veg and non-veg foods very to the liking of my guests there. I will surely try it once again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice cozy dinner with friends and family and loves to have tasty food in style.

Pebbles Surprises you!!

Had been here during their chargrill and dum pukht biriyani festival in October with a friend of mine and i must say it made my day. The ambiance is jus perfect. With the Ipad menu, it was fun scrolling through the variety they had to offer and upon inquiry with the waiter, fixed on having a delicious yummy mutton dish as a starter. It was a full fledged leg wonderfully cooked that the meat melted in our mouths. Although it was a lil pricey, we went ahead with Bhatkal Biriyani Mangalore style and trust me, its worth a try.
The icing on the cake was when we asked for the bill and they come up with a chocolate ice cream dessert as a compliment. And trust me we struggled to finish it but nevertheless it was super yummy.....
Its a place you could visit maybe once in like a quarter or somethin where u can talk and laze around in peace. The hospitality is definitely worth a mention.
Finally, when we stepped out they took a snap of us together with a promise of sending the pic to our e mail id. Its been almost a month but yet am still to get the pic. :D
A good place to be... a lil pricey... but then good things come at a small price doesn't it? You can always have a lil amount of good things in life!!

Fantastic experience

An absolute delight ! they serve the kind of food that stays with you for a very long time after a meal. It is very rare that you come across such honesty in cooking. The spices and taste did absolute justice to the dish be it the mutton seekh kebab which melted the moment it touched the palate or the kashmiri curry which had the taste of authentic kashmiri spices, and in the end the chicken biryani made every morsel of the saffron scented rice a heavenly experience.
Absolutely have to mention the attention paid by the staff which was impeccable, we did not have to strain our necks even for a second trying to catch the waiter's eye.

Amazing experience and pleasant ambience.

Hi All readers,

I am a great food lover and have visited many buffet restaurants across city. I really really want to share a review of this restaurant. pebbles has compelled me to write my first review.

1. Excellent food quality : The food quality is superb and its the same in multiple serving, also the food is always hot and the service is excellent , They will never let you stop for food.

2. Excellent welcome drinks : The welcome drink mocktail was very very good and also the entire food range and taste was mouth watering.

3. Ambiance and waiter. : Waiters were very helpful and ambiance was superb, I really enjoyed a lot being there.

1. Please start your buffet for dinner as well with a little increase in the prices.

2. Include soft drinks in buffet as well and when you include sea food in buffet include them in Chinese blend either in starters or main course but don't keep both in Konkan or Goan blend, either should be in Chinese blend.

Keep up the good food.

All points.

The Outside interior of the restaurant with some small landscaping always invited me to venture inside. And as I have visited their branch in Juhu, I knew my decision would not be wrong. As you enter, the restaurant gives you a large picture, but no on the left side it’s the mirror which makes it look like a larger place. The ipad menu was a ++ for a gadget freak like me. The selection of the food item and placing of orders could be done on the ipad. But the server to place order was down, so seeked help of a friendly staff . When it comes to food and service we can always rate them well. Not a hardcore fishyterian I called for a fish as per the chefs choice and a chicken started was ordered. The food and the presentation of it was good too. A blend of rice and fish curry was ordered for the main course. The gravy was very well done. If you want to eat some really fresh catch of fish when in Andheri you can count on this place.

I would generally rate any place primarily for its food....but with ever increasing competition in this domain has made service an integral part of the hotel/dining experience. And we - group of 10- had a blast for the time spent here. Right from ordering our food using the interactive ipad menu cards(novel concept in indian restaurants) to the ambiance of the place and finally the food fit the bill perfectly. A special mention is a must on the chicken ghee roast and blueberry cheese cake. Ideal location too...just finish your shopping or a movie and head straight into Pebbles for a satiating dinner!!!!

Good experience at Pebbles

The River & Sea Fish Festival tempted us to try Pebbles. It has replaced Trishna & there are no complaints whatsover. It's a fine dine restaurant, having I-pads as menu cards wherein u can browse/select/order your dishes.Tech-friendly I'd say.
Ordered the Pomfret Tandoori - since some of us wanted Spicy & some wanted Grilled,The captain was kind enough to split the preparation - we got both dishes with the same pomfret. We opted for the chi. HongKong Noodles from the Pan asian cuisine. The Cheesecake of the day was Blueberry which was delicious .
It's slightly on the expensive side, but worth visits (if u have deeper pockets !)

Authentic, excellent and delish

The sunday sea food buffet is really really awesome.
With tandoori crab, fried calamari rings, prawns pepper garlic , bombil, himalayan trout, basa and clams, it is a sea food lovers dream come true. The appams are crisp soft and one of the best in the city, the surmai curry with freshh coconut milk and the appams were truly devine. The buffet also comes with unlimited beer and wine so totally worth the 999/- bucks. I have also eaten here Ala carte and though expensive it seems worth every single bite. Unlike other buffets the dessert was also good. After pigging out senseless, a review of the wonderful meal was in order.

Impresses in all other departments other than food

Pros: Super fast service, nice ambiance for a romantic dinner, decent quality food

Cons: expensive for the prices, not too much variety, do not order whats not on the menu

The first thing you will notice about this place is that its loaded with gadgets !! It takes service to an altogether different level. Lately you might have seen innovative menus but this is the pinnacle of innovation!! Instead of a menu card, you get an iPad. you can browse the menu, order items, make special request ( like 1 by 2, extra spicy etc ) or ask for assistance on the iPad. You can order on the fly without waiting for your order being taken. Impressive but expensive. I wonder how the cost of so many iPads can be explained.

The service is super quick from ordering to getting the food. We never waited for anything. Before we stopped playing with the iPad the soup and starters had arrived. The soup and starters were adequately priced and quantity was acceptable. The same cannot be said about the main course. Though the taste was good the quantity is terribly less. If a 400 rupee main course is not enough for 2 people, there is definitely something wrong ( we requested for Chettinad chicken which isnt on the menu) Also the quality of bread ( amboli ) was not good.

All in all we had a great time, but when the bill comes for 1700 and your stomach isnt full, leaves a sour taste. mind you we ordered a full course dinner with cocktail and dessert too.

499 bucks & a Nice Buffet

We chanced upon the place last afternoon when we went looking for Trishna.
The fact that we were right in front of it & the car had gone ahead forced us to take a split second decision. So from a sea food orgy (that we'd envisaged) it became a one fish-curry (among other things) affair.
No complaints! nice decor, helpful folks though a little or more slow (considering there were just 2 other tables occupied, starters came towards the middle of the crab ingestion).
The starters were good - incredibly tender kebabs, very well sauced chicken (some oriental style). Soups. I actually made a meal of just the mutton curry (which again felt oriental in its calling) & surmai curry (south Indian coconut gravy types) with neer dosa & appams. The others did Nan & chicken curry.
Needless to say there were some 3 styles of Rice & there would have been some veggies too. But my partners and I liked what we ate. Tasted good (and that is usually what i call good food). Somewhere towards the closing stages of the main courses, someone came asking whether we would like to have the mock-tail/soft drink that's a part of the deal. :-)
The icing on the cake was the tab of 500bucks a person. It was good value for money.

Classic replacement to Trishna restaurant

Originally this was trishna restaurants location. Apparently this place has now been taken over by Juhu residency's pebble fine dining restaurant. What fascinated me in particular was the amazing look of the restaurant . It's so classy and upmarket that you get the feel of a 5 star fine dining restaurant and to add to it are iPads used as menu cards. That was quite interesting. Other restaurants like main land china etc have now started using the same. The food is great and a nice mix of veg and non veg. In vegetarian you will also find items which you'd usually eat at home like the dudhi , baigan etc...
