After reading the other reviews i was actually apprehensive of going to this place. However, it is a delightful surprise at a place like Dahisar. Although they boast of multiple cuisines....u will have a handful of dishes in anu cuisine apart from the mainstream Indian and oriental. Food quality was great with portion size very good. If serving time be improved it can be counted as one of the best restaurants in suburbs. You wouldn't want to miss the desserts here. Pick up any and you won't be disappointed. Might visit this restaurant again....but not so soon
A very stylish place , great ambiance, splendid interiors.. the food here is a treat for your tongue , all the dishes on the menu are just awesome, veg and non veg food.. cant compare one dish to another, it just gets better and better. Service is top notch, well equipped restaurant.. I'm sure once you visit this place, you will definitely recommend this Restaurant to your friends and other family members.. A 5 on 5 for this restaurant.. the only kick back is that this place is a little expensive so there is only a bunch of upper middle class families that can afford this place..
After a couple of months of waiting we finally stepped in yesterday. The ambiance was superb. Dahisar had for long been deprived of such a classy resto. The starters were perfect, and service was prompt. We had some troubles with the main course which we reported, although nothing much was done about it. BY the time, we'd lost mood for dessert. But all in all, it seemed like a great place with tremendous potential for being the top fine dine spot in the area.
As of date, I have visited Master Chef a couple of times by now. Located at a good spot near the Dahisar flyover, MasterChef doesn't exactly 'wow' you with its food but does definitely provide a decent dining experience with a few exceptions. As you step into the place, the interior and decors make a really good impression on you. The place is fairly spacious and seating is well adjusted and not cramped up. High ceilings really do make a difference. Something not seen often in restaurants these days. The place is exceptionally clean with the tables being laid out with cutlery quite nicely. The ambiance and music definitely please the senses and make you feel that this is a really classy restaurant located at the corner of Mumbai. Masterchef offers a range of cuisines ranging from Oriental, Continental, Chinese and Indian but really doesnt impress with the quality of the food. The quality and taste lack consistency. On each of the several occasions that I have visited the place, they have taken really long to serve up the dishes especially the appetizers. I have seen instances of other customers complaining about this too. The service is decent; the waiters do know the dishes and pleasant to talk to. Coming to the dishes, the prices are on the expensive side taking into consideration the portions that they serve. They could improve with larger servings. A few dishes were exceptionally good like the 'yakitori shio' which is a Japanese grilled chicken starter. However, their 'chicken shorba' soup was horrible. It was just diluted chicken curry. 'Chicken stroganoff' and 'Rosemary Roast chicken' were exceptional dishes. The 'Khus cooler' failed to impress on the drinks end. In terms of price, for two, it would cost somewhere around 1200-1500 which would include a drink, soup, starter and main course. To conclude, MasterChef could improve with the quality and quantity of food. This place however does have a wonderful ambiance which more than pleases the senses.- Foodroid
This hotel astonished me with its ambiance. Beautiful decor, and has a spacious place.. I had been there for a family dinner. We were around 15 people and the service provided was simply awesome. We had ordered a variety of food. Tum yum soup and broccoli and corn soup were good.. Broccoli lovers will be surprised with the taste. jalapeno pampers were good and chicken curls were very tender and soft to eat. We had 2 dishes of rice and one noodles.. Chicken chilly garlic noodles had proper flavor of garlic and was spicy enough to leave a good flavor. Stewews rice was okay but singapore fried rice was the star dish as well as chicken in celery and wine sauce. We came out happy with the food as well as service..in half an hour all the dishes were at our table. Had an awesome time here.
A grate place that one may miss if they don't know Chef Chandrakant Dukhande or it has not been recommended. The ambiance is too good. The messo caesar salad is something that you will love to have. This is a good restaurant for a special occasion or for a reasonably priced dinner. We have found the staff to be attentive and responsive and very friendly. The food is really good, especially the Basa fish cooked to perfection --moist, tender and never over-cooked. Definitely will go back. It is a nice place with great food !!
Just at the fag end of Borivli & the start of Dahisar u find this gastronomic delight. We were here for a friends birthday & was truly worth it. the place jus capticated me with its awesome variety on the menu. Unlike the usual places which have the same things repeated, this one was unique wit japaneese.. & other Oriental cusienes... I can vouch for their italian & Chineese though! We ordered for Drums of Heaven, Paprika chicken as starters. The main course was a mix of a creamy chicken pasta, garlic burnt chicken fried rice & spicy chilli noodles... n u can vouch that all of it was jus awesomely done!! I totally recommed this place
It was a pleasant surprise to see a fine dining restaurant in Dahisar, with really good ambiance and location. The menu is exhaustive with lot of options in many cuisines - Indian, Italian, Japanese, Continental etc. Even the options in beverages are good.. We ordered a mix of veg and non veg dishes.. all decent yet non veg scored much high. The chef special Prawn dish was super. The electricity went off for a brief while but otherwise we had a good experience. The staff is courteous and polite. One tip: The food tends to be on the mildly spicy side, even though we asked for extra spicy. If you like spicy food, specifically ask to make it really spicy.
