Hard Rock Cafe (HRC), made up of rocking ambience, rocking crowd, rocking staff, rocking menu and obviously rocking menu!! Been here three times now and trust me this place is off the chart. A great place no matter what the occasion. That special moment with your special one to have fun, group get together to rock the night away or simply a good place to sit and talk if you want to come in the afternoon.
Located on the road that links KP to Mundhwa, the place is easily accessible from Kalyani nagar, fatima nagar, koregaon park and people staying at bund garden road. Like every HRC located across the world (not that ive visited a lot but have been to HRC in NY and Mumbai), the walls are laden with memorabilias from the world of music. You have the HRC store on the left as soon as you enter and for me that was definetely the first place to go. However I was definetely put off by the prices and the studd was just not value for money. There is a huge seating area with the bartenders area in the middle. A small elevated area which you can consider a second floor that is idle for private parties for 20-25 people. It also has a seating area in the open for all those smokers and people who enjoy a cold breeze due to the river that runs besides the place.
The food is amazing with onion rings being my favorite followed by the cranberry mocktail. We always go for either a pasta or sandwiches that are filling and tasty. For people with sweet tooths I would definetely suggest Apple Cobbler, although fair warning that it is very sweet.
The music is simply awesome. Rock fans would love it and the moment you enter you will start singing each and every song. The YMCA dance routine is definetely something to look forward to where the staff and few of the poeple from crowd can join in and dance on the abrtender's table.
The staff are friendly and quite courteous. Food for two would cost you around 450-500 per person, but then again that would depend what you take. This rate is if you order two mocktails, one onion ring, one main course and one dessert.
All in all a great experience for people who love rock music and would like to sit (or stand and rock!!) for long time. Njoi the place, trust me, you wont regret it!!
