The reason I love Punjabi food I plan to visit Punjab grill in pune and yes I can say that they have brings same taste in pune also. So if you are missing Punjabi food this place will definitely cure your nostalgia. The place is very elegant and the service is also pleasing. Amartisari malai kofta and chops are two of the things that you must try.
I went to punjab grill on the special occassion with my girlfriend . we took two platter over there . It included paneer tikka, corn tikka, curd tikka and many more other things also. The tikka i liked the most was curd tikka. It taste awesome and one should have it . I also took 2 mocktails like jaljera and orange one . It tasted awesome . The tikka was complemented with salad and papar. The mocktail which i liked the most was orange one . We also took sweet that is phirni over there .It was on the recommendation of chef.I also liked phirni as it did not tasted much sweet because I rarely taste sweets but I can say good work by chef.
Finally I got a chance to visit Punjab grill in pune. Thanks to my friends.
Patialasahi kadhi paneer was so delicious made by chef. I really want to thanks to chef and Punjab grill to provided me such a delicious food.
Paneer tikka- nice bing portion of mildly spiced paneer stuffed with chutney with a hint of ajwain.
Service and ambience is amazing
One of the most amazing place to have food. If you are looking for any restaurant with great ambience, nice interiors and good service with friendly staff then you should must visit this place.
Tandoori guchchi was yummy.
And don’t forget to try pan shot at the end.
Wanted to try out this place from a long time. Finally, made plans and booked my table through hungrytable.in. The ambiance of the place are good. The place has a nice feel to it. The food although is the opposite of what I heard. Being awarded the best for north indian food many a times, this place serves no north indian food. I am a north indian, and I know my food. We ordered the famous lassi, which was nothing extraordinary, Although it was good, it was highly overpriced. For the main course, we tried the Amritsari Malai Kofta and an assorted bread basket. The kofta was bland, and my whole appetite was gone with a bite of it. With no proper spices, the koftas tasted bad (read : very very very very bad). The assorted bread platter had rotis and naans mix without a hint of butter on it. Have you ever been served bread without butter in an assorted bread basket. Even a small restaurant serve a better assorted bread basket. One of the most disappointing meals i have ever had. Would not go to this place again unless I wish to kill my appetite.
Was a part of their Anniversary celebrations on the 17th and hence had the opportunity to taste their Pancho crusted pakoras (super delicious), Sesame paneer tikka, Kakori kebab (delicate), Chicken Minced Cigar roll (mind blowing), Chingri Prawn kebab, Parmesan Tokri chaat (yummm) and lots more. The Badami Murg Shorba was disappointing. But the Lassi was made for the Gods. The taste of the Chicken Dum Biryani and Lassi lingers even after 2 days. The Meat Punjab Grill was cooked to perfection and had a unique taste of thyme. The Paneer Lababdaar is a vegetarian's delight. Naan could have been softer but the taste of garlic was perfect. The Gulab Jamun trio hardly had any filling and the lychee ki tehri was tasty but the taste of lychee was missing. Paan shots - a novel concept and totally refreshing.
The food is a bit expensive but definitely worth a try. They have the Hopps menu which shud be a must try.!
Oye hoye..Punjab grill tah jawaab nahi !! My second Chefs table experience was awesome; from the char grilled jumbo prawn to apple phirni, my tummy went mmmm. To finish the entire course was a herculean task as it required a typical Punjabi appetite. While the star of the entire menu was the guchhi kabab ( Kashmiri mushrooms) which was a Kashmiri inspired appetizer with a heavy mughlai filling of cashews. The Punjab grill dal which comprised of true Punjabi flavour with a little dash of fenugreek could manage to tease my pallet though I was completely full after having the appetizers. All is well when it ends well, especially after having the phirni with an apple twist.
